Abstract
A new working model – having multiple careers during the same time period (slash careers) – is emerging despite the lack of official statistics. A slash worker in Hong Kong was interviewed based on Savickas’s Career Construction Interview procedure and three life themes were identified. The life themes are interconnected and provide meaningful life portraits of a slash worker. Life design counselling seems useful when it comes to helping a slash worker explore the enriching life themes of his/her life story.
