Abstract
This chapter traces the development of translation technology since its beginning in 1967 to 2023. It divides the entire history of translation technology into five periods: germination, steady growth, rapid growth, global development, and new age. Special emphasis has been given to the latest developments in translation technology in the twenty-first century.
