Abstract
Technology plays an important role in many parts of education. Our institution has adopted an e-Learning platform and this platform provided many useful tools for teachers and students to use to enhance the teaching and learning experiences. However, not every teacher and student knows the tools and uses the tools properly as they are not familiar with the system. Teachers may have their own teaching and learning approaches that are useful for many years and might be further enhanced by the proper use of the e-Learning platform. In this paper we would capture the current usage status of the e-Learning platform in our institution using a survey and identify the most desirable features that may help the teachers most. From the feedback from our teachers, we can analyse how the tools on the e-Learning platform can help the teaching and learning process and promote the use of the platform to all the teachers.
